Potential employers

OU qualifications are recognised and valued by professional organisations and employers. Having relevant experience can be vital in gaining a competitive edge in the graduate employment market.

As an OU student there are a number of ways you can find potential employers.

  • Read employers' profiles and view vacancies on OpportunityHub.
  • Find more information related to your qualification on your Study Home page under the succeed tab, including potential employers and labour market information. Note, these sites are being continually updated, so make sure you check back regularly.
  • Find tips and advice on job seeking in our Jobs and work experience section.

We also value soft skills and place a lot of emphasis on teamwork, communication (written and oral), the ability to plan and prioritise, and the ability to bounce back and re-group if things go wrong.
