Exam worries
It’s normal to be anxious about exams or examinable work and there’s plenty of help available to you.
Exam techniques are something that you can learn and practice, just like other study skills. Make use of the information and advice in Revision and Managing stress.
Contact your tutor or your Student Support Team for help and guidance if you are worried.
Change your exam arrangements
We may be able to help you make special arrangements for your exam if you have a disability or health condition, see exam arrangements for disabled students for more information. You can also request special arrangements if you’re pregnant or have caring responsibilities or if you’re ill or injured.
Think you're going to miss the exam?
If you’re concerned that you can’t make the date of the exam or something happens immediately before the exam that stops you attending, take a look at postponing your exam for options for taking it at a later date.
If you fail the exam
If you fail your exam or examinable work then you will usually be able to resit, see resitting exams and resubmitting EMAs for more information.
