These regulations, together with the Conditions of Registration, define the basis of the academic relationship between the student and the University.

    Students who are completing an Open Qualification (BD, E60, K05) for which study commenced prior to 1 August 2012 should continue to refer to the previous document version: Academic Regulations (Taught Courses) from 2016 - 2018.

    Apprentices who began their Apprenticeship Programme before publication of this document, and who were previously covered by the standard version of the Academic Regulations (Taught Courses) may now also refer to this document.

    These regulations were approved in January 2016 to replace and update the separate Student Regulations, Modules Regulations, General Qualification Regulations and associated documents. These Regulations were applied to students on taught courses between 2016 and 2018 and have now been superseded, except for students who are completing an Open Qualification (BD, E60, K05) for which study commenced prior to 1 August 2012.
