TMA and iCMA Policy

This document covers the policy for completing and submitting your continuous assessment tasks and explains how the assessment scores are calculated, separate module-specific information such as the assessment strategy on StudentHome, your Module Guide, Study Planner and Assignment Booklet will give you more information about the TMA and iCMA assessment tasks in your module. Therefore, this document should be read in conjunction with the module specific information.

The University is introducing a new way of submitting Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMAs) online for selected modules. If your module uses the new service, please read the Addendum carefully as it outlines specific changes to the current TMA and iCMA Policy. To check which assignment submission service your module uses, refer to the Help Centre article "Which service your module uses for submitting a Tutor-Marked Assignment". You can search for your module by entering its module code on this page. Alternatively, you can check your module website to identify which assignment submission service is used for your module. Apart from the changes outlined in the Addendum, all other parts of the TMA and iCMA Policy remain the same.
