The Refund and Compensation policy sets out the circumstances where The Open University will offer compensation and/or refunds in the unlikely event that it is not possible to preserve continuation of study as a result of the withdrawal of a programme of study.
It should be read in conjunction with the Student Protection Plan approved by the Office for Students.
It includes the steps we will take to ensure students can continue to study, gives the limits to any refunds or compensation and explains how students should apply for a refund or compensation and how this will be paid.
