Student Reasonable Adjustments Policy

Our Reasonable Adjustment Policy supports undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeship, and postgraduate research students who have disabilities, long-term health conditions, mental health challenges, or specific learning difficulties expected to last over a year.

The policy outlines:

  • When and how adjustments are made to help you fully participate in your studies.
  • Types of automatic adjustments
  • How to request additional, personalised support.
  • Guidance on developing study and digital skills, including using assistive technology to enhance your learning and confidence.
  • Information on applying for government funding to cover extra study-related costs linked to your needs.

Our Reasonable Adjustments policy will be published before the beginning of 2026.
