Data Ethics Policy

The policy on Ethical Use of Student Data for Learning Analytics has been superseded by a new Data Ethics Policy.

The Data Ethics Policy describes the University's approach to ensuring that data is used ethically. It applies to large-scale data processing that is intended to inform actions the University may take, recognising that new technologies such as data science and artificial intelligence can raise ethical questions.

This policy does not apply to data collected and used for academic research, which is covered by Research Ethics
