Conditions of Registration 2026/27 Supplementary Agreement for PGCE Students Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Wales)
In March 2026, The Open University published the Conditions of Registration Supplementary Agreement: PGCE 2026/27.
There are some changes from the previous version of this policy (Conditions of Registration Supplementary Agreement: PGCE 2025/26). These are:
- Clause 1.2 updated to explain that depending on your circumstances, you may be required to arrange a DBS certificate and/or register with the DBS Update Service to ensure you have a portable DBS. Links included to further information about costs.
- Section 4 restructured to improve clarity. No change to content.
- Clause 8.3 removed as assessment banking is not available on the PGCE programme.
- ‘Local authorities/Hub’ in the Definitions list updated to Local authorities/Key educational stakeholders to reflect updated terminology.
