Conditions of Registration 2026/27 Supplementary Agreement (Nursing)
In March 2026, The Open University published the Conditions of Registration Supplementary Agreement: Nursing 2026/27.
There are some changes from the previous version of this policy (Conditions of Registration Supplementary Agreement: Nursing 2025/26). These are:
- Scope updated to clarify what this document covers.
- Clause 1.1 updated to confirm you must have an appropriate Disclosure Scotland check, including the PVG check.
- Clause 1.1 updated to confirm that in certain circumstances you may be required to complete additional or repeat disclosure or safeguarding checks during your studies.
- Clause 1.3 updated to remove reference to the Apprenticeship Modification Form as this is no longer a requirement of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. New wording confirms your registration will be subject to your employer complying with our due diligence process.
- Terminology change – removed reference to Academic Assessor.
- Section 6 updated to include reference to sharing of information with the professional regulator in certain circumstances.
