Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Wales 2026/27
In March 2026, The Open University published the Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Wales 2026/27.
There are some changes from the previous version of this policy (Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Wales 2025/26). These are:
- "Alternative Format, support and information" section updated to include reference to the Welsh language version of the policy which is available.
- Clause 4.9 updated to reflect that the part-time tuition fee loan support for 2026/27 is capped at £2,875 per SAY.
- New Paragraph 6.19 added to clarify when funding entitlement and fee liability patterns are assessed and fixed.
- Section 7 updated to improve clarity and readability. It has been reorganised into two subsections separating discretionary fee credits and fee refunds. No change to content.
- Paragraph 8.2 updated to confirm you will be informed of any additional residential school costs before you register.
