Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Northern Ireland 2026/27
In March 2026, The Open University published the Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Northern Ireland 2026/27.
There are some changes from the previous version of this policy (Fee Rules (Undergraduate) Northern Ireland 2025/26). These are:
- Clause 4.9 updated to reflect that the current funding support (part-time fee grant and loan) in Northern Ireland is capped at £3738.75 per SAY.
- New Paragraph 6.18 added to clarify when funding entitlement is assessed and fixed.
- Section 7 updated to improve clarity and readability. It has been reorganised into two subsections separating discretionary fee credits and fee refunds. No change to content.
- Paragraph 8.2 updated to confirm you will be informed of any additional residential school costs before you register.
