In December 2024, The Open University published the Terrorism and Extremism Related Research Policy (Taught Students) for the first time.
This policy covers the acts of collecting, recording, having possession and viewing on the internet of Security-Sensitive Research Materials. The policy applies to taught undergraduate and taught postgraduate students carrying out independent research, such as for a dissertation module.
