Dignity and Respect

In April 2022, The Open University published the Dignity and Respect policy for the first time.

This policy can be used to help deal with any form of bullying and harassment in Open University contexts between:

  1. students experiencing bullying and harassment (all students, regardless of whether or not they are a current student, (including former students), who feel bullied and harassed);
  2. staff who experience bullying and harassment by a current or former student occurring on approved premises/locations including designated online spaces, face to face events, research supervision sessions and during contact.
