In March 2021, The Open University published its new Deferring your Microcredential Policy 2021/22 for the first time. This is a new policy.
This policy sets out how you can get support, when needed, due to personal, unforeseen or uncontrolled circumstances that impact your studies and you need to apply for a deferral; and the procedure that you must undertake, should you wish to defer your Open University microcredential.
