Academic Regulations 2021/22 (Apprentices)
In March 2021, The Open University published its new Academic Regulations 2021/22 (Apprentices) for the first time. These are the Regulations which apply to qualifications studied as part of an Open University Apprenticeship Programme.
The changes made:
There have been several significant changes to this policy:
- Replaced Student Charter Principles with relevant new Student Charter Values in The Open University Student Charter Values section
- Updated the ‘Equality Act 2010’ to ‘Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 for Northern Ireland, or any other statutory duty or obligation’ throughout the document
- Updated Section J2.1 to include information on redundancy and a link to the Redundancy Appendix
- Updated the Glossary to include a definition of ‘Redundancy’
