Social Media Policy

In January 2021, The Open University made a number of significant changes to the Social Media Policy. These changes will affect all students.

The changes made

There are a number of significant changes from the previous version of this policy (Version 1.0). In summary the document has been restructured to emphasise:

1. Staying safe online (section 3 and paragraph 5.1)
2. Applicability of Open University regulations and policies to the online space (paragraphs 1.1 and 6.1)
