The Open University (OU) and The Open University Students Association Relationship Agreement

In April 2021, The Open University made an amendment to The Open University (OU) and The Open University Students Association Relationship Agreement.

The changes made

  1. In the introduction, we now make clear that we recognise that we operate across four nations, working for the inclusion of our diverse student body
  2. Any changes to this document must now be agreed by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Students) rather than the Vice-Chancellor
  3. Reference to the Student Charter commitment has been updated
  4. Section 2e 'Sharing of academic governance and Boards of Studies papers has been re-written following a change in OU procedure
  5. Within Appendix 2, 'Our partnership commitments' a new 'Response to COVID-19' section has been created, and all other commitment sections have been updated
