Between the years 2012 and 2018, incorrect information was displayed to students on the Study at the OU pages regarding the time to complete our Counselling qualifications. This error was present on both the Diploma of Higher Education in Counselling (W09) and the Foundation Degree in Counselling (X09) Study at the OU pages.
The information previously incorrectly stated that the time limit to complete this qualification was twelve years. As per the qualification regulations, students have seven years to complete their qualification from the start of their first Open University module. This shorter time limit is because these qualifications make use of credit from outside The Open University.
