Advocacy Policy: Representing a student’s interests

In April 2021, The Open University published its new Advocacy Policy: Representing a student’s interests for the first time. This policy was based on previous Advocacy: guidelines and procedures, dated June 2017

This policy describes how The Open University enables a student to be represented by someone else on their behalf, called an Advocate, for times when a student is unable or unavailable to represent themselves.
