The Open University is making some changes to the BSc (Honours) Healthcare and Health Science (Q96) from October 2020.

One of the compulsory level three modules – Promoting public health: skills, perspectives and practice (K311) – will be available for the final time in October 2019. We are replacing this compulsory module with a choice of three optional 60-credit modules:

  • Investigating health and social care (K323)

In addition, two further modules within this qualification are coming to the end of their planned lifespan and are due to be replaced:

  • An introduction to health and social care (K101) will be available for the final time in February 2020 and is being replaced by Introducing health and social care (K102) which will be available from October 2020.
