BA (Hons) Social Work (Scotland) (graduate entry) (Q50) - Qualification amendment

The University plans to make some changes to the BA (Hons) Social Work (Scotland) (Q50) from October 2020.

Under the existing structure, Stage 4 consists of two compulsory modules: Adulthood, ageing and the life course (K319) and Critical social work practice (K315). K319 was available for the final time in October 2018 and has been replaced with the module Investigating health and social care (K323) from October 2019. As this module has less of a focus on adulthood and ageing than K319, we are introducing another module - Approaches to mental health (K314) - as an option alongside K323.

The module K323 will still count towards this qualification and will continue to be an option for students wishing to study this module. However, students will now be able to choose between K323 and K314 from October 2020.
