Changes to FASS school structure

The Open University are making some changes to the structure of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). The Faculty will be moving from a four-school model to three.

The three schools will be:

  • Psychology & Counselling
  • Social Sciences & Global Studies
  • Arts & Humanities

What this means for students

Students registered onto one of the following qualifications or modules will have their Student Support Team move from being Arts & Humanities to Social Sciences & Global Studies.

  • F30 - MA in Philosophy
  • Q43 - BA (Honours) Philosophy and Psychological Studies
  • W63 - Diploma of Higher Education in Philosophy and Psychological Studies
  • A222 - Exploring philosophy
  • A333 - Key questions in philosophy
  • A227 - Exploring religion
  • A332 - Why is religion controversial?
  • A853 - MA Philosophy part 1
  • A854 - MA Philosophy part 2
  • A857 - The philosophy dissertation
