The Open University will withdraw the MA in English (F58) on 31 December 2023. Students who wish to claim this qualification will need to satisfy all necessary academic requirements before this date.
Students who intend to complete this qualification should keep in mind that both compulsory modules that count towards it will also be withdrawn:
We are replacing the MA in English (F58) with a new version MA in English Literature (F88) from September 2021. This is as a result of an update to the structure of the qualification, its content and its learning outcomes. Our new MA will be comprised of two 90-credit modules.
