The Open University will withdraw the Postgraduate Diploma in Humanities (D35) on 31 December 2022. Students who wish to claim this qualification will need to satisfy all necessary academic requirements before this date.
The University is introducing new versions of the MA in History (F89) and MA in English (F88) from September 2021 as a result of an update to the structure of these qualifications, their content and their learning outcomes. As these new qualifications will now be comprised of two 90-credit modules, our postgraduate diploma (comprised of a single 120 credit module) will no longer be a relevant intermediate qualification.
