Fee Rules (Undergraduate Study) 2018/19
Warning: the content within this page reflects the information available to students in the 2018/19 academic year. As such, this information may no longer be factually accurate.
The Open University has made some changes to the Fee Rules (undergraduate study) 2018/19, which sets out the rules that affect the fees, fee liabilities, fee refunds and fee credits for students studying undergraduate modules or qualifications. These fee rules apply to you if you’re registered to study an undergraduate module in the 2018/19 academic year.
The changes made
- Removal of rules limiting use of Fee Credits to alternative modules only where it is the first deferral (Section III C, paragraph 18-20 in Fee Rules Undergraduate 2017/18) to provide greater support to students in making appropriate decisions regarding their study choices.
- Removal of additional assessment banking discount to support students to make appropriate decisions regarding their study choices.
- Removal of references to transitional fee and funding arrangements (except where references relate only to Wales) as these are no longer relevant for students in England.
- Restructuring and ordering content to increase usability.
