The Open University will withdraw the Certificate in Promoting Public Health (S13) on 31 December 2020. All students who wish to claim this qualification before it is withdrawn will need to satisfy all necessary academic requirements before this date.
Students should keep in mind that the compulsory module Promoting public health (K311) will start for the final time in October 2019. If they do not successfully complete this module before it is withdrawn, they will be unable to complete this qualification.
When the compulsory module Promoting public health (K311) is withdrawn, its indirect replacement will not meet the learning objectives needed to complete this qualification. For this reason, we have decided to withdraw the qualification.
