BSc (Honours) Sport, Fitness and Coaching (Q76) - qualification amendment

Warning: the content within this page reflects what was communicated to students in the 2017/18 academic year. As such, this information may no longer be factually accurate.

The Open University has made a change to the BSc (Honours) Sport, Fitness and Coaching (Q76). The non-sports related options at Stage 3 will be replaced with a new Sport and Fitness specific module - Contemporary issues in sport and exercise (E314).

If a student still wishes to study the non-sports related option modules, they must complete their qualification by 31 December 2020

What students need to do

After 31 December 2020, all students will be required to study both the module Exploring psychological aspects of athletic development (E313), and Contemporary issues in sport and exercise (E314). Prior to this date, E314 will be available as an optional module for all sport and fitness students. We strongly recommend that you take this module as your option.

Please talk to your Student Support Team if you need any further information. You can find out how to contact them on Contact the OU.
