Data Protection Policy (March 2018 update)

The University has made some changes to the Data Protection Policy. From March 2018, the Data Protection Policy (Jan 2016) has been replaced by the Student Privacy notice. These changes affect all Open University students.

The changes made

  1. Change of policy name to Student Privacy Notice.
  2. Addition of information required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): more detail on what we do with your personal data, the legal basis for processing, and how long we keep personal data for, etc.
  3. Inclusion of information about tutorial recording
