The Open University will remove the 15 credit module Towards chartership (T398) as a compulsory module within the following qualifications:
The inclusion of Towards chartership (T398) in these postgraduate engineering qualifications was originally required by the Engineering Council who wanted to ensure that all Masters level engineering qualifications had personal development planning (PDP) (see Accreditation of Higher Education programmes, AHEP, Version 2). However, all accredited undergraduate engineering degrees are now expected to contain sufficient PDP so Towards chartership (T398) is no longer required.
