Masters in Childhood and Youth (F55) - Qualification amendment

The University has made some changes to the structure of the Masters in Childhood and Youth (F55). The final date a student can claim the qualification under the existing rules is 31 December 2020. The current structure is detailed below.

Students must complete 120 credits from the compulsory modules below:

  • Children and young people’s worlds: frameworks for integrated practice (E807). This module will start for the final time in October 2018
  • Critical practice with children and young people (K802). This module will start for the final time in October 2018

Students will also need to complete a further 60 credits from the optional modules:

  • Continuing professional development in practice (U810) – worth 30 credits
  • Development: context and practice (T877) – worth 30 credits
  • Understanding children’s development and learning (ED841) – worth 60 credits. This module will start for the final time in October 2019.
