Warning: the content within this page reflects the information available to students in the 2015/16 academic year. As such, this information may no longer be factually accurate.
The Open University is amending the amount of fee credit available to students who decide to defer or withdraw from any module starting after 1 August 2016. However, there are no changes to the Fee Credits policy for students studying using transitional fee arrangements.
Previously, the amount of fee credit available decreased depending on the date of deferral or withdrawal from your module. From 1 August 2016, students will receive a universal fee credit of 25 percent regardless of their deferral date. The validity period for fee credits will also be reduced to 13 months for all levels of study.
Please talk to your Student Support Team if you need any further information. You can find out how to contact them on Contact the OU.
