MSc in Professional Science (F60) - Qualification withdrawal

The Open University will withdraw the MSc in Professional Science (F60) on 31 December 2019. If a student wishes to claim this qualification they will need to satisfy all necessary academic requirements by this date.

Any students considering continuing their study towards this qualification should bear in mind that some of the modules that count towards it will also be withdrawn before the end of 2019:

  • MBA stage 1: Management: perspectives and practice (B716) will begin for the final time in November 2017
  • Earth science: a systems approach (S808) will begin for the final time in February 2019
  • Molecules in medicine (S807) will begin for the final time in February 2020
  • Contemporary issues in brain and behaviour (SD815) will begin for the final time in October 2021
  • MSc project module for MSc in Professional Science (SXB810) will begin for the final time in November 2018

If a student is unable to complete one of these modules before they are withdrawn, they will be unable to complete their chosen qualification and will need to consider moving to another programme.
