Complaints and Appeals Procedure (September 2015 update)

In September 2015, a change was made to the Student Complaints and Appeals Procedure for studies commencing after 1 October 2015.

This change will apply to all students who are considering making an academic appeal, but only in relation to modules starting after 1 October 2015. It also applies to research students who are starting or continuing their studies after 1 October 2015.

The changes made

Section 4: Student academic appeals procedures. this section has been significantly revised. Any student considering making an academic appeal – that is, ‘a request for a review of a decision of an academic body charged with making decisions on admission, assessment, student progression and awards’ – should take care to read the revised version carefully.
