The Open University has relaxed the requirement for students studying for an Open degree (BD) so that students may study 60 credits of Open University Level 1 key introductory modules if they aim to complete their degree between 31 December 2015 and 31 December 2019.
This change has been made to increase the flexibility for as many students as possible to complete their studies before the qualification is withdrawn in 2019.
