Big White Wall provides a range of resources including guided support courses and a peer support network. Not all students will find that a peer support network meets their needs and may find some of the discussions difficult. In these circumstances, we would advise avoiding the ‘talkabouts’ and the ‘wall’ which host these self-help discussions.
If you're in crisis, feeling desperate or have thoughts of suicide you should contact your doctor or mental health professional.
If you have queries about your study, please contact your student support team. The staff at the Big White Wall are there to help you with wellbeing but can’t answer specific questions about The Open University or your studies with us.
If you use this service, we would be interested to know what you thought of it by completing this anonymous survey – Big White Wall user experience feedback.
